Frequently Asked Questions
How often should you paint your home?
Every 7-10 years. The actual timeframe will vary by region and material.
What brand of paint do you use?
We use Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. If you have a different paint that you prefer it can be discussed.
Can I get a quote over the phone if I know my room sizes?
We are unable to accurately provide you with an estimate without seeing wall conditions and any defects that may need repaired.
Do you spray or brush and roll?
We do both. Sometimes the time it takes to mask and plastic everything off may outweigh the time it takes to brush and roll. When spraying it lays down a smooth even surface equivalent to 2 coats applied by brush and roller.
What is your process for exterior painting?
The first step is washing your house. The purpose of this is to remove any surface dirt or grime there might be to make sure the paint has a good surface to adhere to. Any flaking or peeling paint is then scraped and all bare wood is primed. If the house is in bad enough shape it may require a whole house priming. All necessary gaps and cracks are then caulked. Then you get to see your home really transform with the finish coat applied.
Picked a color not from one of our main stores?
